American Amicable and Occidental are part of the same entity; however, if an agent resides in any one of the states listed below, they MUST be contracted with Occidental instead of or, if applicable; for instance, whenever multiple licenses are involved, prior to American Amicable.

Assurity, Lafayette Life, and Manhattan Life are Just-In-Time (JIT) carriers. Therefore, this means that none of them will accept any contract unless the agent either resides in one of the carrier’s respective pre-appointment states or has written business pendent.
